Dynasty Electrik is the music and sound healing duo of Jenny Deveau and Seth Misterka. Initially formed as an electronic group in Brooklyn, they fused their knowledge of music with shamanic sound healing to create a unique style of sound therapy—the Dynasty Electrik Crystal Sound Bath. This experience combines original electronic soundscapes intertwined with the celestial tones of singing bowls, soothing nature sounds, and ethereal vocals, guiding the listener on an inner journey of profound exploration. As resident sound healers at the renowned Mystic Journey Crystal Gallery in Venice, Dynasty Electrik had the privilege of collaborating with a number of celebrities and brands, including Usher, Rachel Platton, Marvel Studios, SnapChat, and YouTube. Jenny Deveau harnesses the power of sound and energy medicine to facilitate deep and transformative experiences. Through her intuitive understanding and empathetic connection, she mindfully scans the auric field, utilizing sensory information and compassionate communication to create personalized sessions, that cater to her clients' individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. With a remarkable musical journey that commenced at the age of 16, Jenny has immersed herself in the world of music and singing. Her talent has taken her to international festivals and conferences, where she has captivated audiences with her electric performance style. This extensive background in music infuses her sound and energy healing practice with a unique artistic sensibility, enabling her to create a harmonious fusion of healing modalities and creative expression.
In 2012, Jenny was initiated into the practice of "Svaha Yoga," a Shamanic energy technique, under the guidance of Master Energy Medicine Practitioner Lisa Ishwari Murphy. She also acquired a certification in "Energy For Life Coaching," a unique and highly effective approach that utilizes voice, rhythm, and sound therapy to shift old patterns and belief systems. Furthermore, Jenny offers Astrology and Tarot Oracle Card Readings through the renowned Mystic Journey Bookstore, known for its intuitive readers. Her extensive expertise includes certifications in crystal healing, color therapy, and Reiki. Jenny holds a Master's Degree in the Psychology of Communication from New York University and co-hosts a popular weekly sound bath on YouTube, as part of the group Dynasty Electrik. Currently, she is establishing a sound healing sanctuary in Nova Scotia with her partner Seth Misterka.
Seth Misterka is a multi-dimensional musician celebrated for his ability to create original compositions that transcend traditional genre boundaries. His unique compositions captivate audiences, inviting them on a musical journey that merges diverse styles. He is known for his collaborations with esteemed artists such as Anthony Braxton and Brian Chase of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ski Beatz, and DJ Logic. As a co-founder of the renowned musical ensemble Dynasty Electrik, he has made significant contributions to their unique sound. From 2000 to 2011, Seth operated the influential Newsonic performance space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where he also became an early advocate for cannabis legalization, recognizing its potential benefits.
In 2012, Seth embarked on a transformative journey, delving into the realm of shamanic sound healing under the guidance of master teacher Lisa Ishwari Murphy. This profound experience led him to incorporate various instruments, including singing bowls, into his musical repertoire. In 2017, he became a resident sound healer at the luxurious Mystic Journey Crystal Gallery in Venice, California, further honing his craft and sharing his healing talents. Currently, Seth is collaborating with Jenny Deveau to establish a sound healing sanctuary in Nova Scotia, Canada. Their vision is to create a sacred space dedicated to the transformative power of sound, where individuals can find solace and healing. Seth's multifaceted journey as a musician reflects his unwavering commitment to harnessing the power of music for both artistic expression and profound healing experiences.
