Chiron is a celestial body orbiting between Uranus and Saturn. It’s currently in the sign of Aries, entering its yearly retrograde period. Known as the wounded healer, Chiron is the planetary archetype of transformative healing. It is associated with the shaman, teacher, psychic, and philosopher. Inside each and every one of us is the ability to transform our wounds and pain into a source of power. When Chiron is in Aries, we are learning how to be more courageous and authentic. Painful experiences have the potential to inspire, motivate, and empower us. Chiron Retrograde in Aries helps us to rediscover ourselves, find the qualities we can count on, understand where we sometimes lack determination, and encourages us to regain our independence and courage to fight for ourselves, to obtain what we want, and to overcome our limits. It shows us how to inspire and empower others. Known as the Rainbow Bridge, Chiron connects the grounded, stable energy of Saturn with the high vibrational energy of Uranus; allowing us to access the transformative potential within our wounds and recognize them as portals to greater understanding and strength. It reminds us that we are the masters of our own reality when we take responsibility throughout life. We are opening up what has been locked within us, expanding into the fullness of our energy fields, breaking through conditioning of what we thought was possible. We may feel as though the ground under our feet is no longer stable. The best way to handle this energy is to surrender, to be flexible and adaptable and not allow anything to take you out of your center.
