One of the biggest astrological energies of the year, is Pluto in Aquarius squaring the Lunar Nodes. This influence begins in mid April and goes though October, activating 6 months of transformation and evolutionary intensity. The Lunar Nodes indicate how we are individually and collectively growing and evolving. The North Node represents what we are bringing into our lives and what we are learning by stepping out of our comfort zone. In the sign of Taurus, this is about finding stability and security amidst big changes occurring in the world: finding new ways of doing things. The South Node represents karma coming up for us to review and look at. In the sign of Scorpio, it’s showing us what is no longer emotionally fulfilling and what we need to work through and release. Pluto squaring the Lunar Nodes applies pressure for something to be purged out. We are asked to face our deepest fears. It may require a rebirth to rise up in your sense of self-worth and self-love. Pluto here is giving you the power to be different, to step away from the crowd, and to follow your own path. It’s knowing you have the strength to change your life direction, and knowing your journey is what’s needed in the world right now. In June, Pluto will retrograde back into Capricorn, and the Nodal Square will be in Libra and Capricorn for a few months. In these cardinal signs, there is momentum for a rebirth to occur; to clear karma, and to deepen our awareness of our true desires and how our relationships can help or hinder us.
